This simple, step-by-step guide will teach you the basics of shopping at ChoiceWorld. Just follow the steps listed below & you’ll be on your way to successful shopping!
1) Find Your Product
There are 2 ways to do this:
- Use the Search box. Enter keywords for the product or merchant you are searching for and click the Go button.
- Click on any of the categories to browse through the different products and merchants.
2) Narrow Your Search
- ChoiceWorld will suggest ways to narrow your search further by asking you to choose a specific category.
3) Make Your Selection
- Your search will produce a list of matches. Simply click on the merchant or product that interests you.
- To view other categories, use the Back button on your browser or click on the previous category at the top of your screen.
4) Product Details
- Once you’ve chosen a merchant or product, you will be at the merchant’s store, where you can read a more detailed product description.
- If you like the product, click Add to Cart or Purchase. At this point you are not committed to buying the product. You have simply added it to your Shopping Cart and can continue to browse the merchant’s store.
5) Verify Your Order
- Your Shopping Cart lists all of the products you have selected and their prices. It also features other buttons that allow you to Clear Cart, Finalize Order, and Recalculate.
- After verifying your order, click the Finalize Order button.
6) Providing Personal Details
- You will be prompted to enter your name, email address, billing address, and shipping address.
- Click Continue to Payment Selection to complete your order.
- Protect Your Privacy:
Before placing an order, you should review the site’s privacy policy to learn what information the merchant is collecting about you, how it will be used, and if it will be shared or sold.
7) Completing Your Order
- Enter your credit card information here.
- Read ChoiceWorld’s Safe Shopping tips for more information on how to ensure your transaction is safe.
8) Confirmation of Your Order
- This page will confirm the details of your order, including the items ordered, prices, billing and shipping address, and shipping and handling charges. Print this page and save as a reference.
- You will also receive an email confirmation, which you should save for future reference.
- Please take note of your order number. The merchant will need this if you ever need to contact them.
- Congratulations! You are ready to go shopping.
